Aethelred's hours are numbered and everyone is freaking out because no plan has been made for his succession...he's got a daughter, but no Ealdorman's got a living son suitable enough to take over as lord of Mercia or husband to Aethelflaed's daughter. So Edward steps in and chooses our favorite (feel the sarcasm -.-) brother! uuugh! There are definitely fights and issues ahead with this one o.o
