New one-shot story: A Series Of Egotistical Events

This one wound up running longer than I originally thought it would. When I originally had the concept, I thought the story could wrap in 9k on the word count. By the time I hit the midpoint, it was starting to look like 15k. When I actually reached the conclusion? Just over 19k. And because I put the entire thing up as a single submission, with all chapters complete at the time of publication, it counts for one post charge.
...well, I do try to occasionally provide a little extra value per pledge.
I'll try to put up one to three more pieces before the month ends, although the latter number is on the outer edge of probability. (For starters, after that last run, I'm a little tired.) They'll likely be new short(er) stories, instead of updates to extant works. New chapters on continuing tales should start to appear in October.
It's been a rough summer, and those who follow my blog know why. I just wasn't in a place where I could write, and I'm trying to escape from that. Hopefully this story represents being able to open the first door.
