New one-shot story: Drunk Little Ponies

And got it in before October 1st came over the horizon.

This subject was a last-minute decision. I had originally considered putting up a piece about how Cadance came to be Twilight's foalsitter, titled Something Normal. That story may still wind up being told -- but it didn't take much examination of the core idea before I realized it could easily be a midrange tale, something which couldn't be written in a day. I'm not always the best pre-composition judge of story length, but there didn't seem to be any way that concept wouldn't be multiple chapters.

So instead, this (which still wound up at nearly 11k on the word count). It's not a sequel to Sick Little Ponies (And One Dragon). It's something else, and -- while I had a good idea of where I wanted to go with it, one thing did sneak in which surprised me with its presence. You can guess what that was. I'll reveal it eventually -- but for now, guessing is all there can be.

So tomorrow to recover, and then on Monday or Tuesday, I'll start to think about new chapters on continuing works.

I'm not all the way back yet. But at least I can see the road again.
