Added 2017-10-29 03:17:01 +0000 UTCOver 7500 on the word count for this one -- and somehow, that isn't the important part. Getting back on some level of track? That's a very significant bit. But for some reason, here's what stands out to me right now: when you discard deleted ones (me, posting replies from the wrong chapter to give someone a notification), we're about to reach one thousand total comments.
Compared to the discussion traffic on some stories, that's a small amount. (You can also say the same thing about page views, upvotes, offsite referrals...) But it still stands out to me, because I've never had a story get that far. It feels like a milestone, and so I'll be glad to see it in -- assuming that Big Round Number isn't created by a total bashing.
But for this chapter, I have at least a rough idea of what that 1k comment might be.
I'm guessing it has a pretty good chance to come out as "...oh, @#$%."
