This is how tired I am: it took about twenty minutes after publishing an 8k chapter before I remembered that I should probably head to Patreon on that.

...yeah. It's been a rough few days. Without going full blog, let's just say that I had some not-so-brief doubts about whether I could post anything this month. Tomorrow starts a Week Of Doctor's Appointments (including her critical echocardiogram on Wednesday) and there was a while when I thought we'd be in the ER today. Namely, most of today. She's going through a lot of leg pain (left), her confusion has been all over the place...

But I was trying to get her to tomorrow, because Monday is neurology. And that doctor is the one she trusts more than any other in the world. I can't always get her to go through a test: if he orders it, she'll take it. Leg pain may not be his department, but he can send her to someone who works on it and she'll listen. As for the confusion spikes -- that's his realm. He's the only person she'll answer orientation questions for. So we'll see where it goes.

Or she could be completely back to baseline by morning. If so, I'll take it.

So while I've got you all here, let's make a deity laugh. My hope is for October to be an All-Updates month: two for this story, two for Glimmer, and one for Anchor Foal. This isn't necessarily what's going to happen, but at least now I have a goal for the world to obliterate.

One-fifth of the way there. Let's see what kind of ammunition the universe brings.
