Regarding your question: Hana also needs an object (a medium) that was present during that time in order to see through those memories and in somun's case—they used his sketchpad. Same goes with the level 3, you'll understand how he was able to be in that memory too on the next episode. Somun introducing Hana as his gf was one of the most iconic scenes in this drama 😂
