Anyway, wow. I wrote the second half of this over the course of, I think, two days. C.C. is such a hard character to write. She’s a mess of internally consistent contradictions with a haze of depression colouring everything. Understanding her is one thing. Really getting into her head to move her as she would move is another entirely. I only hope I can do her character arc justice over the course of the story.
