First of all, just the way you saw Kain pay and search for things makes you more and more interested about this whole world and brings up more and more questions. Like why oil seems to be SO precious. But in general it was such a treat to finally see this artstyle animated again, I'm still a huge fan of it. And it looked really amazing at times, so I'd say just from watching it (without especially comparing it side by side) that you definitely improved your quality. While we're at quality: Kain's voice acting was spot-on! None of them were bad or something, but he just stood out as especially authentic. And while I really liked Shira as well, the way she acted and spoke sometimes, I couldn't help but think of Asuna in the SAO Abridged version, which gave a little comedic vibe^^ In general tho, she gave me some vibes of familiarity, I just can't quite pin down from where, for example at 7:35 and her face when the camera angle changes :D The librarian is... Hanji from Shingeki no Kyojin (was thinking too much about SAO abridged, wrote SAO here first). Just with less of a boner for titans. Wait, okay, she isn't Hanji, but she so feels like her, the way she behaves, speaks and gets exited over Kain's... existence (still, nothing bad, just some things that stood out to me) And lastly the story about Warai was interesting. I mean, we know many gruesome fairy tales, but this one was also a cool one. The reason however I'm bringing this up is because of Warais laughing animation, really good job there, that looked fucking menacing! The story starts getting pretty interesting even to me, and by now I at least even know the character's names, which is an improvement for me xD Keep it up :3 Can't wait for part 2
