It's been a bit since we posted the end of our Expectations Comic page, and we wanted to give a little update to show you that we were keeping busy behind the scenes. Along with working on the script for the next comic we'll be uploading to Patreon, we have also been doing a deep dive into the world of Reference Sheets for quadrupedal figures.

That's right! Folks have been asking us for years when we're going to provide these in our regular commission offerings and we're finally putting in the time to investigate the possibility.

To be honest, the reason we've dragged our feet about these sorts of reference sheets is that they are often much more complicated to put together than an anthro (humanoid) figure's reference sheet. For those, you really only need a full-body front and a full-body back to show off "both sides" of the figure. Plus, you can easily create a template that does a lot of the work for you up-front, since humanoid bodies are typically similar in shape (with lots of dynamic, though easy-to-implement variations, of course).

Quadrupedal figures, though? The different kinds of limb arrangements, heights, shapes, and lengths can be endless, and that's before you start considering things like the wings of dragons and gryphons.

Anyway, the point is: We are working on it! We should be able to come up with a final template arrangement in the coming month and will figure out a price point from there. No promises, but we may be able to start offering quadrupedal ref sheets as soon as August. We'll keep you posted. :)
