Maybe it’s just me, but I always associated the “woodblock” sound with a clock pendulum.

2025-11-26 10:34:00 +0000 UTCI think pretty much everyone has a similar reaction to Thunder Plains — "huh, not what I expected". The word thunder makes me expect a cracking sound and a dramatic, minor-scale melody, and percussion; not a happy, mostly major scale staccato piano with a metronome in the background XD You know, I've never thought about this before, but it kinda sounds like an etude, like something I'd play during my years learning the piano. On a related note, I'll have to check if a certain Final Fantasy song has been requested, yet. Anyway, enjoy the mysteries for now and I'll see you in the VoDs!
