Come Inside (Ch. 1)

In which I continue (or perhaps establish) my love of parodying horror movie titles and themes for my goblin stories.

I hope you guys are ready for another goblin story, because I've had those little green vixens on the mind lately! Probably to everyone's delight, honestly. Some of my best-received stories feature goblins pretty prominently, which lets me know that my fans have incredible taste.

"John and his fiancée Dee return to her childhood home for Galw Clannan, a week-long goblin holiday. John's nervous meeting Dee's parents for the first time, but her mother is more than ready to help him relax and enjoy his time with Dee."

So I wrote this story for a few different reasons. First of all, the idea is one that was too good to pass up. I've had it in my head for a while, but only now did I finally put "pen" to "paper" and actually make it happen. Second, the themes in this story are ones that you're going to see in a few commissions I'm working on at the moment, so I wanted to get some practice in with them to make sure my commissioners get the best possible story from me!

Third, the joke on the title was really just too good to ignore once I thought of it. If you haven't realized it by now, a good chunk of my stories are "title first, story second," and I'm honestly not sure if I'm joking when I say that.

Also, this story features some actual hypnosis! It's unfortunate, in my opinion, that I don't include actual hypnotic trance in more of my writing, so the fact that there's some of it in here means that this story is a "win" for me. I mean, it already has goblins, so I'm sure you guys will love it regardless. This is just going to make sure that you love it moreso.

Just a quick note, calling it Ch. 1 might conjure the image of a great, massive tome labeled "COME INSIDE," but this is probably going to be two or so chapters at most. That being said, I hope that you think that they're two or so wonderful chapters!
