Old injection molding methods where pretty restrictive (so many models in that Y pose!) and keeping in spirit with the old pose makes perfect sense. IMO if his head was tilted back and his arms bent at the elbows say he might look like he's calling things down from above. Maybe? Might just be me though.

I realize that this is in a propper scale, never the less the proportion of the arms and legs are a bit bit off, because I have the original in mind. Maybe you can thy and make the army a bit bigger. And the second point is the helmet. The wall thickness of the helmet looks really thick, because of the rectengular shapes in the front. But the the gap between the cheekbones and the helmet is extremely small. That irritates a bit. But I do unterstand, that it is very difficult to get a realist model from those 80s designed, and you have done a great job!
