Still in test assets field but now that the code to handle clothes falling on the mat has been handled successfully, I tested it with a much bigger sample, closer to the size those clothes will have in game.
In addition to that, a second image showing the system is capable to handle two or more pieces ending up close or on top of each other, merging their slowing fields accordingly.
Clothes on the ground will enhance the level of danger of the mat as not only the player is slowed down while stepping over them, they're so big they will eventually end up covering the mat circles.
