Some screenshots, as we develop SDJ's GUI in preparation for the Temporary Revised Demo Build and the official game's demo!
Currently-- We're both taking a bit of time to step back and assess the artistic direction of the game's GUI systems. This includes how menu animations track from screen to screen-- What themes are we going for? Stickers or corkboards? How will we integrate the episodic nature of the game into its functionality?
We're unfortunately unable to work any longer with our past GUI artist as they've decided to step back from freelance work. But we're excitedly evaluating options and designs!
In the meantime, as we get all "techy" and "designy" with the core engine product, we'll be releasing a minimal (yet improved) demo (as we've been teasing for AGES now--) that might just look a little something like this...
And we'll be sharing this fun bit of progress with you all for free! (Major updates are just so much more fun when everyone's able to see them.)
We can't wait to share more of our GUI concepts and designs with you as we go!
