If you think about it, the Military Police have been asking for Eren ever since he showed his Titan powers. They wanted him at the trial where Levi beat him to a pulp, and they wanted him after the failed expedition that was attacked by Annie. They were also present when Eren discovered his titan controlling powers, and now they are working with Lord Reiss to capture him. Do you think these are all connected?

2021-12-09 17:39:06 +0000 UTCFOR KENNY: Kenny what are your thoughts, keeping in mind what the first half of season 3 explores, on the fact that the intro/opening to the first half of season 3 does not have single Titan in it?

2021-12-06 02:41:22 +0000 UTCIn the previous episode, Erwin askes Nile who can be trusted with the future of humanity. Who should decide and who has the right? In this episode we see that Erwin has another gambit that will seemingly determine the fate of humanity. Do you believe that Erwin has the right to take such a gamble? Especially considering how the success or failure of his plan relies so heavily on factors outside of his control? Though he has been painted as a protagonist throughout the series and we the viewers are biased to agree with him, from an objective standpoint, do you believe he has any moral ground to stand on, or is he being selfish to gamble all of humanity when the existing establishment has kept the human race alive for the past century, despite its flaws?

2021-12-05 23:52:52 +0000 UTCAfter this episode, it’s clear quite a few of our characters have complicated relationships with their parents (big mood tbh), especially eren and historia. how do you think that plays into who they’ve become and their actions?

2021-12-05 23:19:06 +0000 UTCErwin elaborates on how royalty kept people in the dark while having them believe everything they were told in order to stay in power and make civilization easier to rule. With the Fire Nations’ propaganda in Avatar and now this development in AoT, what are your opinions on this recurring theme as well as how it translates to real political history?

2021-12-05 23:14:21 +0000 UTCIf the current titan biology we’re led to believe is true (human turned pure titan, pure titan eating titan-shifter, and through consumption becoming a titan-shifter themselves) what do you believe this reveals about Reiner and Bertholdt’s motivations for capturing Eren? Any predictions about the government’s intentions for Eren and the implications that would follow if they succeed?
