In the first few minutes of this episode we see two journalists interviewing members of the Military Police on Dimo Reeve's death. During this scene the senior of the two seems to keep his junior from digging too much into the activities of the Interior Police. Later, these two same journalists are present as witnesses to members of the Military Police admitting to having killed Dimo and framing the Scouts. What are your thoughts on the role of the media in swaying public opinion? Do you think the media has a duty to report the truth, no matter the risks or consequences it may pose to them as individuals? What does this say about how crucial control over the media is in controlling a populace? PS. Though the Military Police mostly operates within Wall Sina and the innermost cities, this episode we’re shown that they still have extremely high influence among the lower class citizens who reside on Wall Rose, going as far as to automatically have good representation in the paper. With the truth now being brought to light by the scouts, what effect will this have on the MPs and their reputation?

So we see when Nile the commander of the military police is talking to the reporters, there is a comment made about how the younger reporter “doesn’t know how it’s works” and later in the episode we see that Hitch and Marlo didn’t know that Annie was the female titan, with that what else do you think has been hidden from the general population?
