Yo Alch, what's on the bookshelf?? I see that Tribe of Mentors!

My left nut can box out people better than KD. Hopefully he can show more aggression on the defensive end next series. Maybe guarding Lebron will motivate him

WOO HOOO!! Warriors made it thru that scary series👍👍. Haven't been able to watch vid yet but will later. Thx Alchemy, your vids helped along the way thru these series. Was always looking forward, anticipating your thoughts on games etc..

Here is how I see the finals, Lebron is Wilt playing with less and we are Russells Celtics. Wilt was a marvel of unstoppable talent back in the day, but the old Celtics always beat him. Wilt finally left to play for a loaded Lakers team with West, Goodrich, Baylor, etc.. History could be about to repeat itself...

Rockets got tired just as we thought they would. This is the one unique advantage that the Warriors have that we get every teams best effort every night, teams trying to make a name for themselves against us all year. This is the pay off, when game 7's come around we know how to pace ourselves and stay poised when the other team is emptying their tanks in the first half. 3rd quarter we just lay it on them and they can't withstand it as they start getting tired and tight. That's why we win the 3rd, the other teams have that "if we don't F up maybe we can beat these guys" mindset. Unless a team is very deep which no one can afford to be with superstars getting paid, our starters are too used to coming back as they fatigue. Granted if CP3, Harden, or Lebron goes off as the others fall off in the second half we can lose but generally having gone through tough games all year we have a great advantage come crunch time. This team sure could use a Barbosa, or even a Mo buckets for the second team right now, bench has too many non shooters.

To add to your three points Alchemy, I think KD and the team could have fouled Capela a few more times. Maybe Kerr was instructing them to save it for key moments, but there were several times Capela was driving when I was yelling "hard foul him!" It seemed like KD either didn't get that memo or he was making sure he didn't get into foul trouble like his brother Klay. Those offensive rebounds by the Rockets. Nothing like watching the diminutive Tucker outposition KD (as you pointed out). Where KD could improve is once he makes a game time mistake--to self correct (like Draymond) before the next sequence, rather than after the game is done. Lastly, each time KD had his lapse on the defensive side, it was 100% certain he would go down the court and try to make up for it with a basket (which he nailed this game each time). Through this series, I've developed respect for the Rockets, a great distaste for CP3 (and those State Farm commercials I used to enjoy--seriously, Steph and Ayesha would be way better spokespeople for State Farm), a bigger distaste for any TNT series about criminal families/salons, and thank the Rockets for helping our team finally find themselves and learn how to win under high pressure situations. If KD and the Warriors become better, it will be because of this series.

The equation for the bigs will again change in this series, I also think ball movement and screening will be more important against the Cavs and i suspect we will see more D. West as he's the best passer on the post splits.

So I have 3 thoughts. First can't wait to see Harden follow thru with his promise to cut that beard so we can all see what he's hiding.....second when the Rockets cry baby about the calls they didn't get just take a look at how many times Capella rode Draymond back with no call especially obvious when you watch the montage of the 3 of misses, not 1 call cause they let em play......as hard as this game was to watch (really to endure) in the first half, halfway through the second quarter when the Dubs got scored on and then push it back with pace to get 2 or 3 back and it went back and forth but with up tempo pace and scoring (as opposed to the crawl of the 1st quarter) that's when I knew, the wave is coming just endure a little longer.

Too bad Lebron, I think he could've taken this Houston Squad for his last ring. But what to do, instead he's gonna have to cover Durant and score 40+ I'm with you Alch, KD looked like shit in the first half, and I truly wasn't worried in the slightest in game 6. It's just the way the warriors are with this loaded roster. But this game, I thought it was 50/50 going into the 3rd. Harden's legacy set, the number's don't mean shit. He's suppose to be the MVP, went ice cold from 3

The postgame comments by Kerr and players about KD and by KD himself were very interesting. They all knew KD was struggling thru something this series and questioning himself. Kerr even admitted that it's been a struggle integrating him with the rest of the team this year, unlike last year. But they all believed KD needed this test, this challenge, and these struggles to overcome and that he and the team will be better as a result. It seems clear to me that once the team and KD realized that KD iso bball would not work and that we had to run offense with Curry, we were finally able to figure out this HOU defense. As far as this series, I have no doubt that if we had Iguodala, this series is over in 5 games. Like AA says, styles make fights, and Iguodala is so important for the style of bball played in this series. Without Iguodala, this series became a war of attrition. CP3 wore down until his hamstring gave and after that we just kept wearing them down. All those missed 3's weren't bc of luck. Anyone who's played bball knows, you can't shoot when your legs are dead. And there's no other way to say it, Curry saved us tonight. The stats won't show it, but I think this was the best game of Curry's whole career. Just legendary. This was vintage unanimous MVP season Curry out there in a G7 of a WCF. That pass and chase play Curry was doing with Bell tonight to get open 3's was straight out of his unanimous MVP year. And I just can't ever get mad at Draymond no matter what. I don't care how many 3's he bricks. Draymond carried the defense on his back at times in this game. Capela is a beast and Draymond basically made him a non-factor this series. A phenomenal series from Draymond.

Tetralogy is the answer to your question sir. That's what we have in WARRIORS V CAVS IV

The Rookie is going to get a good dose of the Kang as well

Whole bunch of if’s, but yeah both teams fully healthy we would look different. But CP in and IG out, I think we probably go down.

Athletic Alchemy

That was s bad look for real!

Wow what a great series and I know this game was really nothing to celebrate about but man to escape Houston after they talked so much shit saying they were better than us and all that, it’s too satisfying and I know the players felt that same way (Steph & KD hugging it out). Looking to this Cleveland series, it’s almost weird after watching NOP/HOU that the pace will be night and day. We know everything runs through Lebron and he gets shooters like Korver, Green, Love and JR open shots but they don’t run up the court and they aren’t great in the transition game as we know already. We SHOULD get back to our ball-moving system without worrying about the “switch everything defense”. Things to monitor: - I truly believe Andre will play in this Finals BUT I predict Game 3 which is next Wednesday. Let’s give him 1+ week to get right. - With only 2 days rest, Draymond today said he rolled his ankle pretty bad but played through the adrenaline. We gotta monitor that come Thursday because without Iguodola, Dray is the guy who I predict will take on Love, Green and specifically James all game long. - Will we start Looney again is the question with I suppose a matchup against Tristan Thompson. All our bigs are really playable this series other than Zaza, which I feel bad for him because he really was irrelevant this entire post season.

Gr8 Video Alch. We got this..time to wrap it up.

If iggy healthy this series over in 5, I don't see how paul makes them win in 7. We choked in game 4 and 5.

YOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE LIT FAM!!!! another great clip Alch. I been waiting for this. Killer doing Killer things, Steph doing what he do... KD coming through.. it's amazing how seemingly effortless GSW can come back - a few right plays, a few made shots, then it's all over. When Capela flexed on us, i knew it was over: we were gonna win. CP3 and Harden so much salt - walks straight out after the game! where's the respect!?!? on to the next. Warriors in 5
