The difference is Poole is a much much better basketball player than Bell who was very raw in his skills. Poole has been coached up at Michigan, he knows what he needs to do. If Spellman can get in shape he is aggressive with a 7 2' wingspan, he is very capable of playing center.

I have a small mini theory (or is it even a theory? idk). I love Jordan Poole already. He could become a bust and be terrible, we obviously dont know that yet. But for right now. I like the way he plays. I like his confidence, his swag, and his talent. But I have a feeling he and Steve Kerr won't get along. I see a lot of Jordan Bell in Poole. The swag, the way he carries himself. Bell was slightly different because their play styles were very different. But Kerr never liked Jordan Bell. Personally, I think Bell was treated very unfairly by Kerr, never giving him enough minutes to really show what he had, and would get pulled right after a mistake. That dude couldve been an elite defender, a great athletic threat, and a good back up "big" for a small lineup. For Poole, I dont think Kerr likes these kind of guys who are slightly a little too much about themselves and their "swag". Its almost why Curry-Klay-Iggy-Dray-Durant all worked out with him so well. None of those dudes were about swag or jelly. I dont know. Maybe Im just overthinking it? Tbh, Im just worried that Poole wont get the minutes he deserves, and Kerr will pull him the second he makes any sort of mistake or risky gamble. We all have noticed that he likes to gamble on jumping passing lanes and what not. Will that get him pulled early under Kerr?? If you ask me, yes it will. Even if Poole somehow can become a guy who drops 15-17 off the bench semi-consistently, Kerr will keep him on a short leash cuz he wont like that Poole might get cocky. Idk. Id like to hear your thoughts Alch. Anywayyyyy. SMILEY AGAIN. That is his official nickname we are gonna give him. Its a perfect nickname. The dude had a rather quiet game, then went off in the final 5 minutes of the game. Him, Poole, and Evans all look really nice playing together. Im getting more confident in Evans playmaking and midrange. If he can be consistent from 3 and dunk a little more often, he could very well be the next Iguodala. I want to see more of Pascall. Malakai has regressed a little. Im not high on Bowman at all. Im also pretty annoyed we gave up Damian Jones for more GUARDS. We only have one 7 footer on the team. We need at least 2. Glenn Robinson III, Alec Burcs......like really? Do we really need those dudes? And then the Omari Spellman. Sure he's young, and athletic. But 6'9???? We dont need more 6'9 dudes!?!? We need legitimate centers! Looney and Cauley-Stein cant be our only ones! Looney is barely a center as it is! Im not liking how the bench is being sorted out at all.
