New NJB: How America Builds Transit Wrong

I was talking to Dave from City Beautiful the other week and we were both working on videos on the same topic: transit-oriented development. But we approach it from very different angles. I see his video as a companion to mine (his video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYsqWIGyRVk).

This video is ultimately about good land use that supports transit, but it approaches the topic with some good & bad examples and some historical context.

After my "business parks" video, I received some complaints from Canadian transit fans that I didn't talk about Mississauga's BRT. So I paid the same videographer from last time to go back to Mississauga and film the BRT stations and ... wow. They are hella overbuilt with terrible land use! They turned out to be the perfect "bad" example for this video.

And finally, I'd just like to ask you not to share the link to this video on social media until it's live on YouTube (Monday evening). My last video leaked to Twitter, and over 60% of early views came from Twitter, not Patreon. I consider seeing the videos early (and chatting about them early) to be a perk of Patreon membership, and I don't want to have to lock them down or require you to log into Patreon to watch them. So please keep the link to yourself for the next few days!
