Artificer WIP
Added 2020-08-04 12:30:56 +0000 UTCHi all! I've been working on the artificer and have done a few Vedalken heads to mix up the race selection a little. I'll be adding all of the other races so far into it too but have only got the one on the render at the moment. You'll be able to use all of the Kingsguard heads on this body too, but I'll add goggles to them so they can be a bit more thematic if you wish.
Here's the current WIP shot of the first of the male artificers, the low level one. I'll be doing the female version in a very similar fashion after this.
I'm going to add a bandolier with tools and potions and stuff on it, but are there any other additions you'd like to see for this noob artificer?
As for weapon options, I'm going to add a pistol, a large steampunk style wrench and hammer. I was thinking about some king of cattle prod type device. Hes already got a powered gauntlet.
The next level will have a more elaborate gauntlet, a back mounted power pack, and some armour.
High level i think will be more elaborate armour and I may add a set of additional mechanical arms to the backpack

Really fancy, maybe clockwork, armor has been an artificer stable in my mind for as long as I can remember. 100% on board with the mechanical limbs some of the others have suggested. For weapons, I'd KILL to see a teched-up scythe. 1) We see them so rarely on minis in general, which is real sad considering how unique they are, 2) A force/energy scythe is very 40k Necron which imo fits the tech/arcane fusion theme wonderfully and 3) who doesn't love a good scythe?
