Kickstarter Preview! going live 21st May
Added 2021-04-16 23:20:34 +0000 UTCHey guys! So I know that you've all seen most of this stuff before and a bunch of you will already have some or all of it. Irrespective, I owe it to you as the loyal fan base to give you the first sight of this project! So the plan is that there will be 3 buy in levels - the first will be the Scouting party - light and fast moving and smaller in number for a lower price. The second will be the Core army. There will also be the Dark Knight's Redemption pack which will be both a pledge in itself for those of you that missed it and also as an Add on pack to the other 2 pledges.
The Stretch goal units will all be added as add ons that you can pick up, but once additional units are unlocked through stretch goals, I'll be opening up an All In pledge which will give savings over buying everything separately.
Early Birds will be available for the first 24 hours only.
WHAT I NEED FROM YOU!
OK, so my plan beyond this Kickstarter is to hopefully employ a second full time sculptor. if I get to at least £30K I should be good to do that straight away. This means we will collectively be providing you with more content each month for the same amount of money and with a second body on board, some of the sculpting pressure is off me so I can engage with you better and involve you in the sculpting decisions.
I need you all to take whatever STL files you have of mine, particularly the ones for the Talarians and the Dark Knight's redemption, and print them all out and post photos of them on your favourite 3d printing groups! Its OK me sharing the links but that can come off as just pure advertising and turns some people off, but when they see their fellow hobbyists knocking it out of the park with awesome print jobs, they'll stop and listen!!!
Please also feel free to share the link to the Kickstarter preview page as it will all help me with exposure and getting to that goal of becoming a proper art studio so we can service your needs more effectively!

Essentially my plan is to offer 3 tiers. there will be the Scouting party, then the core army and the final one will be the all in. All in will get everything. Core army gets everything thats avaialble on launch, and scouting party gets a reduced offering with everything but the kingsguard. Stretch goals will be added to all applicable pledge levels, and those that aren't automatically included will be available as paid add-ons for the lower tiers in case theres something particular that they want.

The army is based in a world I've created and the styling is inspired by my love of JRPGs and Japanese Anime so it's not just standard medieval styled armour. It's more of an influence and homage to my childhood influence than an outright theme. The character set I did for. Final Fantasy 4 will be part of this though and they were redesigned and styled to fit with this army.
