City Watch - renders and A special Model!
Added 2020-02-03 21:01:13 +0000 UTCHi all! here's the first 4 City Guard for you!

I've put the supported ones that I've successfully test printed on my Elegoo Mars. They were done at 0.25 micron layer thickness, with an exposure time of 5.5 seconds using the Elegoo clay grey water washable resin. 10 base layers at 60 seconds each. give them a go and let me know how you get on with them. They all printed successfully with no additional work so you should be able to load them onto a build plate and click go if you want to give it a try.
anyway, the special model! My friends over at chilling Wargamers have long been big supporters of mine and have had me on the show a couple of times now. They're also Patreon supporters and huge gaming and painting enthusiasts (and recently 3D printing too!). So I've immortalised the face of Chilling Wargamers in a model I call "The Chilling Watchmen" - 2 off duty post tavern watchmen in the likeness of Spud and Elston.

You can see more from the Chilling Wargamers on Youtube here:

let me know what you think and keep your eyes peeled over the next week for the rest of the bunch to join, including a female Werewolf, a Stone Troll with a Ballista for a Crossbow, A female dwarf, A Captain and a Commander and of course an obligatory "asleep on duty" guard too.
Any additional requests please add them in the comments and I'll see what i can do.

2020-05-25 15:01:38 +0000 UTCHi, did you ever get around to doing the female Werewolf, Stone Troll with a Ballista for a Crossbow, a Captain or a "asleep on duty" guard? Thanks
2020-05-25 10:17:21 +0000 UTCPrinted both versions of the supported "chilling guardsmen." They both came out well the hilt on the sword of the larger one didn't come out 100%. The right blade guard did not print properly but the smaller is perfect and the supports leave minimal clean up! Thanks again! Posted a pic (and this same message) on the LTM community group on Facebook. Thanks again!
2020-02-20 02:41:35 +0000 UTCThe file has a sword, and two versions of the drunken guards in it, one large and one small. I do not have the skills/software to split these up. I have downloaded meshmixer and am giving it a whirl.
2020-02-18 21:19:31 +0000 UTCI have not, but I'll load it up now. I work over the weekend and am basically not coherent until Tuesday. Will report back with the results.
2020-02-18 21:07:04 +0000 UTCDid you get a chance to try the drunken guard supported file i put up yet Nick?
