This month, largely due to the developments we are having for chapter 11.3, we bring you Hasiel.

We were really looking forward to getting our hands on Hasiel's design and give him a look more in line with the times and the events that have been happening to the character. In the post we talked a bit more about why he looks so anachronistic and what our general ideas were when it came to including him in the cast.

Of course, telling the story of this character was especially important to us. This is the kind of story we tend to see in the margins. We wanted his trans character to be something that everyone knows about, but at the same time, not become the centre and sole reason for his existence. It's hard for us not to identify somewhere with this character.

Este mes y, en gran parte por los desarrollos que estamos teniendo para el capítulo 11.3, os traemos a Hasiel.

Teníamos muchas ganas de meter mano al diseño de Hasiel y darle una apariencia más acorde a la época y los acontecimientos que le han ido ocurriendo al personaje. En la entrada os hablamos un poco mejor del por qué de su imagen tan anacrónica y de cuáles fueron nuestras ideas generales a la hora de incluirlo en el elenco.

Por supuesto, el contar la historia de este personaje era especialmente importante para nosotras. Esta es la clase de historias que solemos ver en los márgenes. Queríamos que su carácter trans fuese algo sabido por todos, pero a la vez, no se convirtiese en el centro y único motivo de existencia. Es difícil para nosotras no sentirnos identificadas en alguna parte con este personaje.
