Let's talk about Lisapi's adventures (Public)

What do we have here? Clickbait? No, a very looooong post.

It's complicated to start this post because it's probably long and I don't know where to start.

This weekend is my weekend off and it's something I needed but I'm not going to bore anyone with that part. I've been thinking and... I've finally decided to do something I've been thinking about for about two months and I haven't done it before for several reasons:

1. The ideas were not clear

2. I didn't know how you would react

You know me, apart from always working hard I like to be transparent with you:

I haven't taken this step until now because I was worried about your reaction. "Will they like the idea?" "Will they be angry with me for wanting to work on another project without stopping working on the main one?" "Will they think that to dedicate time to a side project it would be better to dedicate it to the main one?"

These and many other questions have always been on my mind during these months. That's why literally 2 people knew about this idea and only one of them is a patron (the other one is not Lisapi).

I've always put it off for later... But that moment never came. It didn't come until the moment that has come when thinking about new mechanics/features for LA and above all the plot and what will happen with Lisapi.

There came a moment when my head couldn't take it anymore and I needed to stop and sort out my plans. Why? Has it ever happened to you that you want to do several things but you have to plan one of them? And suddenly you start thinking about another one of the things you want to do until you start to get overwhelmed and you have to stop and think for a moment.

Well, that's what got me here. I've gone from thinking about a few ideas to becoming more and more excited about bringing "Lisapi's Adventures" to life. It has unintentionally caused me to mentally block myself with LA + things that I think are wrong with LA or that something is missing to get more people involved/interested. But we'll talk about LA and the problems I have and their possible solutions in the DDs.

Leaving that aside and going more to the point, it's funny how the two names are "identical" and I didn't do it on purpose: Lust Age (LA) and Lisapi's Aventures (LA). Is it silly? Yes, but now what short name should I give to L'sA? Something like that? Well, I guess.

"Which game do you like? LA or LA?" Hahaha...

Idiocies aside, it's time for me to explain how this idea was born and how it will be possible for both LA to coexist:

In an involuntary way, Lisapi is one of the most loved girls so I wanted to give her some prominence because she "exists" in Discord, so why shouldn't she have her own adventure?

You may think that it's easier for me to give her a leading role in LA and forget about working in L'sA. That's what I thought until I started to think about what will happen with Lisapi. Don't worry, there are no spoilers but I will tell you that a 100% discarded idea is that when Lisapi has Aynia's permission to visit the terrestrial world she could switch between her and the future Champion in the same way that you can switch between the two brothers in AC Syndicate.

What's the problem with this? Even if Lispai were to have interactions with the MC himself and the girls, however simple they might be (sex-related) I've always felt that it would "steal" the future Champion's thunder. Let's remember that the premise of LA is "you", the future Champion saving the world (to sum it up a lot without spoilers because everything is yet to be seen and I don't like to talk about things so far away because plans can always change a bit...).

With that in mind, I started to think that I could do something very simple and so I wouldn't make a new project but... I have plans with Lisapi that are incompatible, from how she will visit the earthly world, the interactions, what will happen with her, and more things because one day we will have to find out who Lisapi is, so far she is Lisapi "The ????".

Again, with all this in mind we move on in my thoughts which brings us to this week were a combination of mental fatigue + new ideas for both games have made me take this decision for one simple reason:

Working on L'sA allows me to take a mental break from LA so I can see things with a different perspective and motivation (works both ways for both games).

Although thanks to all of you who support me here every month (either punctually or continuously) I can say that I dedicate myself to this professionally, it's also like a hobby. I prefer to spend my free time developing rather than playing or doing other things. I don't deny that from time to time I need a total break and sometimes I dedicate time to other hobbies. Although programming and designing are a headache, seeing the final result is very satisfying.

So let's go to the first important point related to "Lisapi's Adventures": What will it be about, will it be VN, Sandbox, casual...?

Let's start with the genre: At first, it was going to be a clicker, the problem is that I'm going to keep working with Ren'py and a clicker is quite difficult and although I've tried... I have not been able to get the result I wanted. Luckily I've learned some basic basics to include clicker mini-games/features in both games.

So I kept thinking... I didn't want to make a simple VN (it has a specific name but I never remember the name. "Kinetic"?). I also didn't want to make a kind of LA but now the MC is Lisapi. So I started to mix concepts and genres and the result is going to be something... weird? Interesting? I'll let you judge for yourself when the first version is available.

The genre is as follows: Semi VN-Sandbox-Dating Sim-RPG.

Huh... Sounds a bit weird, eh? You might think it's no different from LA, but in this case, the "Dating Sim" will work through different features and not just spending time with girls. Several features are still to be defined but the main core of the game will be idle through "commissions" where girls will ask you for different materials and stuff and you will get experience and more stuff in return. You and the girls will level up and new features and scenes/renders with them will be unlocked. As it may sound very vague on paper, I will give some existing examples:

- In "My time at Portia" there are commissions where villagers ask you for materials and to craft things in exchange for money, exp, reputation, and relationship exp.

- In "Booty Farm", you work on the farm and the girls you meet/unblock have to be raised through commissions and you unlock scenes/photos when they level up.

L'sA is going to work similarly to both games but with LA style and VN concepts. There will be times when there will be scenes like in a regular VN, girls will send you letters with spicy paintings, instead of spending time with the girls, you will gain experience with commissions and unlock new things as they level up, etc.

There will be differences, as different ideas come into play here:

- There will be a sexiness stat that will unlock spicier things with the girls, you will be able to raise this sexiness in different ways without being related to the commissions, outfits...

- The outfits feature will be a lot of work but I think this could have a lot of potential in this style of game. Every few levels, special commissions, and other stuff Lisapi will get outfit pieces until she has a complete set. This set will be totally visual and she will wear it. I still have to define exactly how this will work because it can be a lot of work if I don't plan it carefully but we'll talk about that in the DDs. There will be more sandbox-style content but like everything else, in my own style.

- I plan to make some "infinite" feature like any clicker/idle but I still have to think about what it will be because I want to offer something that will keep you entertained while waiting for a new version and of course unlocking spicy content.

That brings me to the next point:

- There will be exclusive things you will see in L'sA but not in LA? Yes and I'd be lying to you if I say no and when I explain the main plot you'll understand.

- Will we see different girls from LA? This is a bit tricky, but possibly yes. We will see all the existing ones as we go along but there might be new girls to interact with that we won't see in LA or we will see them as "extras/inhabitants".

- Exclusive main girls for L'sA?  With the main premise of the story, anything is possible and we might decide in the future. I'll make a note on this and say that if for example, I think of a new girl that doesn't fit in LA but fits in L'sA... It's possible that she could be implemented. Example? I consider that milfs don't fit in LA as it is full of young girls and all the girls in your harem are also young except for Maria who is the oldest of them all. I have nothing against milfs but I feel they don't fit in LA. But with Lisapi? It's different when I think about it. Still, it's something that is not 100% planned but you never know.

- Exclusive features? Of course. Both games work in different ways so they will have different features. There will be some exceptions or even things that can work in both games. But my idea is to have things that distinguish between the two and not look like a copy with just a few differences.

I can't think of anything else right now but you can always share with me your doubts.

Okay, okay, let's go to the last point and leave the technical and mechanics part aside.

Let's start with the content of L'sA:

I'm going to underline it and it's important to remember: Lisapi's Adventures will be a 100% lesbian game.

- There will be no sexual interaction with the future Gold Valley Champion or any other man. For sexual interactions between Lisapi and the future Champion, you will have to play Lust Age.

- As a consequence of being totally lesbian-themed, there will be something that I doubt exists in LA: Strap-ons. This way it will give much more variety to the sexual content between the girls. Obviously, Glenda's dildos will exist and there will be more toys with Tali.

- There will be the same fetishes as LA and as always, they will be separate and/or there will be warnings.

- Everything will be soft. Although it may seem fun to dominate Lisapi and have Maria fuck her hard as if it were the end of the world, remember that the wholesome atmosphere will be present so there will be limits but there will be a little more freedom.

Note: I had to misspell "spa.nk" because Patreon considers all synonyms for "sp.ank" to be offensive.... Damn, we're talking about something with consent, in a naughty and playful context, not about abuse or offensive... Anyway...

- There is a big difference with LA on this issue; all spa.nking will be visible, always. If there is a span.king scene, instead of the screen going black, we will see Lisapi being span.ked or Lisapi span.king. In LA there are some obvious reasons related to Yuna and the past of some girls why the MC refuses or changes the subject when girls talk about spa.nks. Obviously, Yuna will always be excluded from domination/span. king-related things. When you meet Yuna in L'sA it will be quite different and I have several things in mind that could be quite funny and cute at the same time.

- There will be repeatable scenes, paintings, etc. I'm putting it this way because I want to think of new ways to implement these things. At first, it will work similarly to LA with the secondary girls but with mini-tasks for each girl.

- The "Journal" is 50% discarded but another 50% of me thinks it would be cool to have a little main story and steps to follow even if it's focused on non-VN stuff as my idea is to give much more freedom with the girls and the one thing that holds you back is the method to unlock new girls.

- With that said, the girls will be unlocked under certain requirements. In the beginning, a little bit related to the story but then more freedom will be given on that. Maybe in the first versions you will be limited to who to meet but then, for example, you will be able to choose freely the order. Example: Being able to unlock Maria, Tali, or Arwen and you choose the order.

- An interesting question I constantly think about is: Who will be the one to get love so to speak? Well, thanks to being lesbian it gives more play, and sometimes Lisapi will give love, sometimes it will be the other girl, sometimes both at the same time... There are several possibilities and that gives me the chance to make different and unlockable content with all the girls.

And right now I can't say what else there will be but all that will be the core of Lisapi's Adventures. It will be more interesting to see it when it exists visually and not just in words.

Lastly... It might be the most... interesting thing? I'm not sure, but it's a strong reason why this is going to exist.

Time to explain the plot:

Lisapi will convince Aynia to visit the earthly world. After a conversation, Aynia will give her permission but there will be one condition: Learning to live the human life by herself without the help of her "marked" (the future Champion). Spicy things will happen that I won't say but somehow Aynia has to put a seal of protection on Lisapi. Why? Because this story is based on how Lisapi moved to Gold Valley and lived the rest of her life there living different adventures. So in order for them to exist in the same universe and timeline, everything will happen at the moment when the calm begins, after the last event that happened in the hot springs with Vanessa.

After all this, Lisapi will talk to Maria. All this will happen already in the earthly world and this is where our guide Mabel will appear. Yeah, in L'sA Mabel will be our guide. The difference? Mabel will also be an available girl with her own stats and history. Why? Here comes the funniest part...

Mabel will offer Lisapi to live together in her house. After some bad jokes and outdated memes, Lisapi will accept. This is the beginning of your adventure with Lisapi and Mabel.

Lisapi will need a job to make a living in Gold Valley, right? Lisapi will be Mabel's assistant, she will become a mailwoman although she will start from the bottom (own level system). She will help Mabel with the commissions (feature), she will also help Mabel to deliver the orders personally and to prepare them in Mabel's house.

As in LA the secondary girls are destined to the naughty content, here it gives me the possibility that Lisapi creates a more intimate link with some secondary girls as in this case could be Mabel. Let's remember that girls as a rule only have sexual interests with other girls, the sentimental is only with the future Champion. In this case, it will be the same but it could be that something more intimate/romantic also has a place in L'sA even if everything is focused on sex. For example, I don't see anything wrong with Lisapi kissing intimately with other girls or having affectionate displays between Lisapi and the girls. Could it work? Would you feel weird? It could work, but why?

Here is the main reason why both LA can exist: This is a fictional story told by Mabel. It will be her version of how Lisapi came to visit the earthly world. I never thought that another one of the girls you like the most would be the perfect excuse to make it possible for both of them to coexist. Let's remember that Mabel is a bard specializing in romantic sex stories so she herself will tell us a story of how Lisapi could have come to the earthly world and live in Gold Valley. Thanks to this almost anything is possible within some logic but that will be decided as Lisapi's adventure progresses.

I know that doing something 100% lesbian is not the usual thing to do and that this is more for a more specific target than something general like LA. I know, but I want to venture into something like this and I think we're all going to have a great time watching Lisapi trying to have the life of a human being in Gold Valley along with all its inhabitants.

And that's the synopsis of L'sA in a nutshell. I would give more details but some things are still to be decided and others I prefer to wait to finish the design but at least now I have in mind two exclusive areas for L'sA leaving aside Mabel's house but we'll talk about it later.

I forgot something important: Lisapi's behavior will be the same as you see in LA but multiplied x5 at least at the beginning because it will be the first time she visits the earthly world so keep that in mind. If you think about it, all the girls behave according to their age. Mabel, being the youngest, is the craziest, Yuna, despite being 190 years old, also behaves in a very youthful and innocent way, Patricia the same, although we don't see too much of her, although she loves to tease us, and Lisapi, is Lisapi, a 19-year-old girl who has never seen the earthly world and virgin.

I have forgotten another important thing related to what you see in the images: Lisapi's appearance changes a bit both in hairstyle and clothes as she will now be just another human (that doesn't mean she doesn't have powers). This way I can also give an interesting premise to how the outfits system will work in L'sA.

And with this, I can end this mega-post about this new project that has been born just in the week on the one-year anniversary of her creation. I never thought that after a year of starting with LA I would consider working on a side project. I'm quite excited because Lisapi is one of the characters I like to play the most (dialogues) so I think there can be a lot of funny and naughty situations.

I have to mention something that maybe I should have mentioned at the beginning: This is a side project. This means that the priority is the main project, Lust Age. But I want to do it like this: On weekends I take a break from LA and work on L'sA unless I have something important to do in LA. This way I can take a mental break from LA and I can work on L'sA. This way I don't end up totally burnt out from working too much in LA. Could this be a bad idea? I'd like to think not, especially because with L'sA it will be more chilling and updates will come slower or be shorter (I prefer slower but more content, honestly).

Does this mean it will delay LA updates? Not exactly as I was getting to the point where I was starting to think about not working at all on LA related stuff on the weekends and just resting (my routine is to get up at 12pm and go to bed at 3-5am every day of the week working on LA non-stop). So, in the end, I will work in L'sA on weekends although I don't deny that some days off I will do it too so I don't saturate myself.
