Dev Diary #56

I was going to wait until tomorrow night to do the diary but you know what? Fuck that shit, my sleep schedule is fucked and I want to tell you about my work in progress.

I honestly don't know where to start because I've done so many things that I feel like I've done nothing.

Luckily what I feel has nothing to do with reality because I'm making a list of what I've done these days:

• Staying up until 6am to make a bugfix version.
• Crying in a corner.
• Report me the next day (today) another pretty fucked up bug that luckily you can avoid easily.
• Crying in a corner again.
• Thinking that this is a never-ending version and I want to cry again.

...

Spanglish is coming, I'm really sorry.

Finished the perks system 99,9% functional (still left the Lust section).

The Lust section is missing because I have to finish the next point of the update in order to finish that section.

Finished the new stats interface.

Finished the new specialisation interface.

There is still a small detail missing, which I will show you next week, but it can be summed up in one word: Ass.

Finished revising and making 100% functional the minigames including new sounds and stuff.

Added a new material (cotton) to make it much easier to get cloth so it's balanced with the rest of the materials.

Finished making the inventory functional along with materials and tools.

Finished making all crafting interfaces functional with new sfx.

Made all paintings (+10 in total counting fetishes).

Made small changes to the general crafting interface. You won't notice the difference but it's to be able to work correctly the alignments in both languages.

And 99% of the things I had to finish before moving on to the penultimate point of this release.

It's been suffering and it seems endless but when I see the final result... It's worth the effort.

Summing up the rest of the stuff: I only have 2-3 things to do that will only take a day to do. That day will be tomorrow.

Tomorrow I will finish everything and get ready for the next point of the update. So I hope that from Monday onwards I'll be able to start again with the usual diary schedule...

Having said that I'll say goodbye with a reflection I've been doing these days: 

I've always appreciated the comments that say I should take my time and not saturate myself as we all need a break from time to time.  Obviously, a break from time to time to clear the mind is necessary in order not to offer a big shitty update/content... 

The big difference with this is that I don't like to waste my time, why? Because my time is worth money and that money is not mine but yours. So I don't like to waste my time because it's wasting your money and I don't want anyone to feel like they are wasting their money by supporting me, on the contrary, I want you to be happy with every new content that you are supporting me on a monthly basis while I dedicate 110% of myself to deliver good content every month (I'm trying it in each update) and improve over time.

I can't force anyone to stay forever but that's my job, to make you all stay as long as possible as long as you can afford it financially.

You know that I always listen to someone who has something to say and I have much more consideration for those of you who are here supporting me. The only difference is that I've been trying to behave in a more professional way for months but in confidence, I'm still the same as always with his bad memes and silly comments, or if not ask Titan, Robin, or Locu and others on Discord.

With this I say goodbye and I hope it will be until Monday and not until next Friday...
