Thank you for sharing your anxiety with the community, Colin. My girlfriend suffers from about the same level of anxiety as you do, and I think the aspect of our relationship that she's most thankful for is my understanding of her anxiety (one of my majors is Psych). Rather than telling her she is wrong for being anxious, I try to help her make sense of it and that she isn't strange for needing meds or therapy to help manage it. Over the years, I've seen my girlfriend get a lot better at managing her anxiety and you can get better at managing it to, you just have to keep working at it. <3

I really enjoyed Colin talking about his struggles with anxiety. Maybe enjoyed isn't the right word. I was so laser-focused while watching it because it's very similar to my experience.
It made me want to just sit down and have a one on one with Colin where we talk through the daily cascade of emotions and connect. In reality, if we were sat down with that shared goal our seperate anxieties would probably get the best of us and it may not work out so perfectly.
Colin you've helped me to reflect on more than one occasion over the years. I very much respect your self-awareness. Thanks!
