Weekly Update!

WELL HELLO FRIENDS~!

Things have pretty drastically changed since our last check-in, so we've got a lot to cover this week!

If you've missed the videos/social posts, all of Kinda Funny is officially working from home for (at least) the next two weeks. As you can imagine, that complicates a number of things for us BUT we think we have a pretty good plan in place and Kevin has been working out the tech side of things so we can all record shows remotely.

Our first priority next week is making sure our remote recording is as close to the quality of our normal shows as possible (both in technical ways and in terms of content). We are planning to broadcast KFGD and the slate of morning shows on Twitch as usual. Early access Patreon streams for PSILY, Gamescast, and KF Podcast might get a little bit trickier as we test the limits of a remote software (in terms of how many feeds we can have coming in). You're also going to see the weekly line up of morning shows change up a decent amount, as shows like KF/AF and Internet Explorerz are more technically challenging to do remotely. On the bright side, we're hoping that this will open up opportunities for a lot of our Cool Friends to collaborate with us since a lot of them are working from home as well! TL;DR -- things will probably get weird, but I'll keep you updated as we figure things out as we go.

Now before you start commenting, here are some details:

• "Hey Joey, why are there two Screencasts?" Great question, thanks for asking! We're doing two episodes of "What are you watching?" with two different casts, so you'll get to see some faces you don't always get to see on Screencast. Still figuring out who's on which show, so you'll have to tune in to see! 
• "Two WHCF?" YUP! Still in talks with guests, but we'll tweet about who will be on the shows once we have them locked in!
• PSILY will be shifting to a Tuesday recording/Wednesday release this week so we can record something else on Monday afternoon.
• "No live Gamescast on this schedule??" Correct. ;)
• "Will KF/AF and Internet Explorerz return next week??" Maybe! Those are the two hardest shows to do while we're all separated so we're seeing what we can do. They're not gone forever, it's just gonna take us a bit to figure out if/how we do them in our current state.
• "Will there be a game stream this week?" An excellent question that I just thought about as I realize we don't have one on the calendar. Our afternoons are pretty busy recording ~things~ but one of the benefits of being remote is that someone who isn't on a show could potentially stream something! So that's a big "maybe?" haha. I'll keep ya posted.

You'll probably get another update from me mid-week as we see how all this rolls out. The best place to get updates for things like WHCF guests and any last-minute schedule changes will be the KF Twitter account. 

Platinum peeps-- 90% of the KFAF CDs for January have already been sent out and we've loved seeing your pictures! As we were processing orders, we noticed the CD order that the warehouse received was about 100 short of the order we placed, so a second batch has been expedited and we should hopefully have those out to you in a week or two. The KF Justice League pics will start going out on Monday. I posted the March shirt size form last week (or maybe earlier this week? time is weird), so scroll back for that if you missed it! Currently working on all of our Q2 pieces and I'm excited to share them with you toward the end of the month!

For anyone that supported at Platinum for all of Q1-- I'm checking with our pin manufacturer/distributor to see if any of the COVID-19 issues are going to affect production/fulfillment, so hopefully I'll have an update for you next week!
