Is it getting hot in here or is just me? We get closer to the center of the mysteries surrounding Volcano Manor.

DLC: Daughters of Dedicar

So somebody must’ve mentioned this to you guys but I always took a 3rd option with Rya where you leave her be. My gf and I discussed that her coming to terms with it and getting thru the depressive episode was a very powerful message to get through that kind of trauma. If you don’t kill her or give her the potion. Sue just disappears and I think you get a note saying she left off on her own journey! To come to terms with her life. And I think that’s the best and most beautiful ending. I personally couldn’t deny her the truth and give her the potion but didn’t want to kill her.

Corpse wax is probably abundant in Volcano manor, but the ambient temperatures might render it a little runny to use as a door seal.

Was excited that a few episodes are free so I can send them to friends. On a quick google looks like part 2 is listed incorrectly as 252 in the url. If I change it to 212 that seems to work.

Brian Sorris

I REALLY hope with that ending we get to see her again in the next DLC.

I really like Raya's ending when you do neither option. Simply waiting for her to work it out for herself what her existence means is incredibly appealing.

Came here to talk about not giving the potion to Zorayas too, as expected I was beaten to the punch. Was surprised it wasn't even mentioned (even if you didn't decide to do it). I think it's the only good ending to this quest. I agree that numbing yourself to reality shouldn't be as looked down upon as it is. In the real world, this would be represented by substance abuse --, something I partake in heavily and happily -- and I don't think pathologizing the act or 'othering' the person is the answer. But giving her the potion is like giving her a lobotomy or advocating for someone who has a sad past to drink themselves into oblivion. Forcing her, when she asks you to kill her, to become a blissful idiot is closer to an evil ending than anything else.

Yes, this ending actually seemed like the good ending to me. Giving Rya the truth, and her coming to terms with it, still choosing life, and still seeing the beauty of Tanith’s love — all are great outcomes.

Mystic Referee

You can choose not to do anything with Rya, and if you do she leaves a note thanking you for all you done. Its the ending of that letter that gets to me "Farewell You've always been so kind. So uncompromising. My champion"

Maybe too late for the roundup, but you can also *not* give Zorayas the potion, and she will leave you a note saying that she has gone off to explore the world and work to be worthy to be the daughter of Tanis.
