So I got like 1 more small mechanic to work on. A friend gave me this idea that when you give a customer a Bill with a mint, if that mint sends their belly past their limit, then they'll explode but also reward you the points you've accumulated. A double whammy of a win and a lose lol.
Once I set up the code for that mechanic, I should be done and start getting into fine tuning this game while making finished assets (as well as placeholder assets for large and small customers.
I need to strike a balance between time, quota needed and belly limits being pushes. Seeing how long it took me to pop all of their bellies made me realize I might have to either give more time or lower the belly limit. Either that or leave it as is and have the danger of bursting customers be a possibility as players start being pushed to go for higher and higher quotas. Again, all part of finding a balance.
There is the fact that swapping between customers can get tedious, I'll have to see if there's an easy way to fix it or just hope its not that big of an issue. There is the issue that it'll make Table 5 a less desirable table to wait... maybe I can add an arrow that'll let you go from 1 to 5! that could work really well!
Okay so, plan is make finished assets, add arrow that'll take you from 1 to 5, and implement mint burst mechanic. I do believe I can make this happen~
February definitely feels like the demo month~
