Uh, the background of this piece turned out much more complicated than I planned it to be. I wanted to convey the impression of a crowded market, so I added more and more massive elements and details in the background. But then I realized that this feeling could not be conveyed without a crowd of people, so I had to also add people passing by...
Yeah, now I think the piece came out really massive!
Do you think it looks like a flying city market? The clouds are almost completely hidden by people, so I'm not sure if I was able to convey my original fantasy idea.

2024-03-16 11:02:07 +0000 UTCi think it still feels like a flying market ^^ i absolutely think it is necessary to draw a bunch of people to draw a living crowded marked sadly i fear when you have wanted to show it's volumenosity or that it hangs in the sky more clearly it would have to be a bigger shot which would have meant much more work i think it has a very nice character focus ^-^ maybe you could have added another floating rock that is bound to this marked with an bridge and/or a flying harbor in the distance to add more clarity sorry if i'm sounding critical i think it is a very nice piece i'm just thinking about the construction and what possibly might help ^^''
