[ Between Sky and Earth - Between the petrified cities of The Earth, the base reality, and the caustic, blinding freedom of The Sky, the virtual reality, the cyberspace absolute that governs all existence. Between Sky and Earth, a thousand heavens are at war. ]
[Souls anchored to the miserable reality of Earth aspire to become Pilots, those who incarnate in Sky by way of neural interface, the sacred gate to virtual space. They take on the form of Avatars, and with them plunder the depths of Sky in search of ancient data, a million petty gods devouring one another under the watchful aegis of the Firewall. ]
[And somewhere beyond - the axis of Sky itself, around which cyberspace contorts - the Throne. And to claim the Throne is to become God.]
The Kickstarter is now live! A book documenting a setting i've been thinking about and developing for about a year now, since my time on SZX wrapped up. I'm absolutely exhausted right now, but there's loads of new art and writing on the KS page itself for you to check out!
