The everyone has the same name and profession joke falls flat since even back in gen 4 they confirmed that Joy and Jenny was their surnames, hence why the Horizons character is named Molly Joy.

2025-06-28 19:40:06 +0000 UTCThere are some firefighting situations where you make new fire to fight the old one. I only ever seen it done in forests. There are also some situations where you wouldn’t want to use water to put out a fire like electrical fire and I believe oil fire too. I still never heard of why a fire department needs a dog, but if there’s a water dog pokemon, a fire department could have a fire dog pokemon as their mascot. I guess if you don’t mind a water fox, Vaporeon could be a mascot too of the department to better reflect real world fire departments.
