The second of the redone movie reviews that got so many of you into my stuff. Once again, I'm afraid I'm not comfortable uploading the original, but I'm sure it's somewhere out there online if you REALLY want to see it. This one is better in every way anyway.

The unfortunate thing about Pokemon The Movie 2000 is that it starts the trend with Ash being the only character that matters in...a lot of the movies and that's why watching these movies can be such a frustrating experience, ESPECIALLY Temple Of The Sea, God, tha movie pisses me off. The closest ones I enjoy being the Diamond and Pearl movies, and even in some of thsoe, they need to give him a big Tom Cruise-esque set piece, as seen in Arceus. They don't give his friends this kind of treatment, so, yeah. I get it, it's HIS journey, but...the "protagonism" can feel very Gary Stu-ish.

2025-07-21 06:45:41 +0000 UTCI love this movie so much. Way more fun than Mewtwo Strikes Back. Zoroark Master of Illusions is still my favorite but this shot up to my top 5 along with Zoroark, 3, Lucario and Pokémon Heroes.

2025-07-21 03:11:56 +0000 UTCHere's a fun fact that wasn't in the review. Slowking in the dub was voiced by Nathan Price, the original voice of Meowth before Maddie Blaustein took over the role with EP032. The guy has a weird habit of voicing talking Pokémon.
