2020-11-07 01:32:00 +0000 UTCAfter both of you brought it up, I was trying to compare how the characters looked from earlier episodes. I don't really see a difference, but Sokka and Katara are wearing short sleeves. I think this represents either changing seasons or changing climates as they progress towards the earth kingdom. I'm not certain of the timing, but the Winter Solstice Part 2 must have taken place on December 21-22 and was given the task of defeating the Fire Lord by the end of summer, which I would assume is like September 21-22. So, he was given 9 months? Anyway, I think Book 2 is a transition into Spring, and Book 3 is Summer.

2020-11-03 19:46:38 +0000 UTCNah, it's okay to shit on Azula. Yeah she's a teenager (she's 14) but she's evil, man. She's messed up....and she acknowledges it. You can sit back and admire how conniving she is, her talents and cleverness and her skills as a firebender. You can say she was manipulated by her evil dad. But she's twisted. Also, in this world they're considered adults at 16 so even though she's 14 she's fully aware of what she's doing. And about the Avatar state....Katara is almost always the trigger. Hahahaha

2020-11-03 18:55:11 +0000 UTCYeah, same for me first time i watched it. Also Lightning Bending is a rare ability only the most powerful firebenders can use and control. That's why it was usually reserved for royal families such as the fire lords family. And because Azula is a firebending prodigy, she, as well as Iroh and Ozai can create lightning. On the other hand, something that is truly unusual is Iroh's usage of lightning bending since he has created as one of the, if not THE only bender a technique that can redirect it instead of "just" being able to create it. But more on that in future episodes later this season :)

The fact that she is only 14 is especially terrifying when you think about her overall character and evil nature as i'm sure you'll see or saw just by her smiling at Zuko's Agni Kai with Ozai.. Damn, i'm so excited to see your reactions to her in future episodes^^
