Aaron Paul won 3 Emmy awards for his role in Breaking Bad! Bryan Cranston won 6 ( 4 for lead actor and 2 for producer). Aaron Paul won against Peter Dinklage, who was nominated for that amazing GoT episode "The Laws Of Good Men" ( Trial episode with that amazing speech from Tyrion). Aaron Paul won with episode 11 from season 5, "Confessions".... What a crazy ride the final season will be, get ready ;)

I also saw this story line as Skyler being a foil to Walt, in that she knows what she is doing is illegal, but she weighs her options, gauges her risk, and then makes a very hard, but somewhat safe choice. To her knowledge she'll never know she's ever in immediate danger (ignorance is bliss) because she has no idea who where or what the danger is as she's basically just a "white collar" criminal. Walt on the other hand is making such huge moves so fast and stepping on so many toes that he's found his way into a million dollar meth lab hidden under a landromat run by a box-cutter wielding BADASS who hides in plain sight and is smarter than anyone he's in a room with. Even illegality is a spectrum and the White family is just one example of that endless spectrum.
