2022-10-02 11:07:07 +0000 UTCIts kinda interesting. One Punch Man is very similar in a lot of ways, but also different in a lot of ways. While Mob Psycho goes for a lot of character development and complex relationships with other amazing characters in the show, One Punch Man is more focused on action/comedy/parody! However, One Punch Man does have great characters; Characters that are very interesting on just how they do "stuff" (being vague) in the show. One BIG similarity though for both these shows, which I think is the most comparable thing for each show is the Main Characters! That, I think would be enough for you guys to really enjoy the show! Plus its short 25 eps! One Punch Man has only 2 seasons right now, but it just got confirmed a S3 by the SAME STUDIO that also does Mob Psycho lol.😂

2022-10-01 17:59:18 +0000 UTCOne Punch Man season 1 is 12 episodes, and it's awesome, but in my opinion season 2 is totally skippable. If season 1 is a 10/10 anime, season 2 is 5/10 at most; the quality drop is so sharp. Btw, if you're considering watching shows with a lot of episodes, maybe you can just commit to watching a season or arc at a time. That way you're not locked in to something for too long. p.s. Hunter x Hunter you would love, I'm sure of it. There's parts of that show I bawl my eyes out at.

2022-10-01 14:30:37 +0000 UTCI would recommend watching the first season of one punch man and not viewing the second (about 12 episodes i think). The first had amazing animation whilst the second was really sub-par. I would say the general feel of one punch man is similar to mob psycho.

2022-10-01 06:19:08 +0000 UTCI think the main two characters and their relationship is the focus of the show. If they enjoy the "how?" factor of Mob, they will love One Punch Man as well. OPM is more ridicules than Mob, but it is also more grounded in a way. Besides, season 3 is being made, and they might switch back to Bones or a better studio again.

However I do feel that maybe it's a bit early for you guys to watch it :D It would probably better to watch some more "standard" shonen shows untill you'd get everything that OPM makes fun of. It has some incredible world building aswell, but you won't really learn much about that untill season 3/4 gets released. It's really cool actually to watch Mob psycho and see how inspired some of the charachters are from One punch man :D I'd recommend you watch a little bit more shonen before you try it out :)

2022-10-01 02:10:43 +0000 UTCYes the Mob Pyscho manga ended a couple of years ago so this 3rd season is going to be the final one. Now also as a pretty big One punch man fan I feel like It wouldn’t be a good fit for you guys. While the basic premise is *kind* of similar to Mob I don’t think it has nearly as much character work in it since it’s mostly action focused with a few good heartfelt moments thrown in. I’ll keep saying if your looking for an anime similar to Mob and Fullmetal then Hunter x Hunter is the way to go. It literally has everything you’re looking for and I’d personally put it above mob Pyscho and Fmab at its best.
