This ep made me love Al 10x more than I already did! Al legit became one of my favorite characters in this show when he was tryna get out with Heinkel.... Then him taking the stone to use it against Pride and Kimblee always gives me goosebumps and gets me emotional!

well, the last shot of this OP where Winry is looking at a sleeping Ed, they are in the Elric's house which no longer exists (the brothers burned it down). So...take that as you will...

The craziest part of the final opening is the tremolo at the end. I watched a live performance of the song, and he's just so talented at making the wavering, and it makes it have so much more emotion.

Rewatch the scene where they reveal the Briggs soldiers from the previous episode. You'll have a laugh when you realize who was the one with the glowing red eyes.

the op is called "Rain" and it's a callback to Hughes' funeral where Mustang said its a terrible day for rain, refering to him crying. make of that what you will.

The fifth opening gives you the right mood for the finale: sadness. I'm curious how they react to the conclusion of some characters.

It's one of the things that makes rewatching so rewarding! Like when Heinkel first appears, back during the Briggs arc, he's just one of the nameless members of Kimblee's personal soldiers. But after you've seen the whole show, seeing his first appearance again on rewatches is exciting.

Crazy how Heinkel went from chimera side character you hardly thought about, to giving one of the best speeches in the entire show
