Extraodinary Attorney Woo Episode 10 Early Access/Full Watchalong!!

Interesting note about the Korean word choice in the script that is lost in translation - in the scene by the revolving doors when Young-woo asked Jun-ho if he still liked her, he said yes but added he was "hurt" when she ran off last time he confessed his feelings? The actual Korean word he used was "sub sub" which means "disappointed" - it is also the SAME word he used in ep7 in the scene in Attorney Jung's office when she asked for consent to touch him & he got flirty asking if her heart doesn't beat faster if they're not touching even when they're together? that he is "sub sub" or "disappointed" (It is also the word he used in later ep12 you already saw when he said he was "hurt" that she doesn't consider them officially dating yet. The English subtitles said hurt but the actual Korean word is the same "sub sub" which means "disappointed".) That scene & line/phrase have become to iconic from the popularity of the show that when he did fan meetings after the show, he was often asked to say that phrase to fans (which of course was met by squeals & glee from fans lol) The phrase gets repeated & has now kinda become the Jun-ho actor's catch-phrase (also got him a SUBways commercial deal after the show finished, in which he said the "disappointed" phrase in the commercial lol.)

A South Korean wheelchair user posted a comment on another video. She said that in South Korea it is a common problem for creeps to only pursue relationships with individuals with disabilities in order to take advantage of them. There have been several serious cases of sexual offenses against women with intellectual disabilities in SK and there are laws in place to protect them. She believes this episode was supposed to compare the relationship between Wooyoung and Junho with Miss Shin's situation. We see Junho respecting Wooyoung and her boundaries and establishing a genuine relationship with her like he presumably would with any other woman he would be involved with. They also showed during the kiss that Junho stepped back, allowing Wooyoung to step forward and initiate if it was what she wanted. She thought that the defendant seemed to have idealized fantasies about disabled people, and benefited financially from them. I figured you may be interested in her perspective.
