Once they seem to return, nobody seems to remember anything or anyone as the Joker appears at the end... season 3?!?! Supposedly there's a sequel to this called AiB Retry in which they explain further of what Arisu does with the Joker and the final game with that card. and supposedly there's enough material coverage to create a majority of S3 if there'll be any, which will be cool to see.

2023-01-16 07:16:42 +0000 UTCI didn't think I was gullible but I fell for everything Mira said lol. And I think this was a great season and way to wrap up the series. To me the Joker doesn't mean there are more games to play but that the Joker represents the game of life which Mira also mentioned.

2023-01-09 21:02:19 +0000 UTCLife is the most chaotic "game" of them all which is what the Joker card represents. It's a wildcard in most games. Chishiya was a medical student, not a doctor. I think he said he was a piece of shit like Niragi because he threw other people under the bus to get ahead which makes his development this season so interesting. Also notice how most people's injuries in the game started to reflect what happened to them in real life. I think that's why Niragi survived those wild circumstances because even though he talked so much shit about the world, he still had hope and the drive to live. That doesn't make him a good person suddenly or anything but it definitely is a good example how sometimes people think they're nihilists but they're really not.

2023-01-08 03:24:57 +0000 UTCI personally like the interpretation that the Joker card represents the wild and unpredictable nature that is life itself. So this could be a good ending for the show. As well, the show caught up with the completed manga which is the source material, so doubtful there will be an S3. You can look up videos on the manga if you want to learn more about what the Joker is and an explanation of what the Borderland was. If there is another season, I wouldn't be surprised if its a prequel focusing on the face card characters and how they won their games etc.

Also i think heiya were able to survive the impossible was because of how strong her will to live was. Like she kept mentioning that she was not going to take the easy way out and she owed it to her future self.

2023-01-08 02:57:40 +0000 UTCI assumed the whole game meant that they were in a form of purgatory. Like, if you die in the borderland you truly die in real life which is how Chota and Karube died. But if you won the games and decided that you didn't want to stay in the Borderlands then you would apparently "wake up." Maybe those who chose to stay remain are still unconscious until their "visa" ran out meaning they would eventually die? Niragi and Chisiya have no recollection of what happened but I think they experienced a change in them. It's sad that Arisu and Usagi don't remember one another but I'm glad that they met each other again in the real world.
