2023-02-18 14:32:27 +0000 UTCRecently watched the 1995 version, it’s amazing (and a lot closer to the book) but the movie holds a special place in my heart

2023-02-18 12:17:37 +0000 UTCI hope this isn’t giving hater but I feel like “The Fault In our Stars” would be such a nice break from the Victorian style films/ shows and early 2000s rom coms that we’ve already seen plenty of. All of these options are great, but I would love to watch something a lil different and fresher idk 🤷🏾♀️

2023-02-18 10:28:01 +0000 UTCthat's exactly it!! it makes it difficult to follow the way they set up the 2005 version!

2023-02-18 08:02:57 +0000 UTCI feel like because the 1995 version is a miniseries, the events are naturally more spaced out and make more sense. The 2005 version feels like a lot of things just are happening and conversations are out of order. I don’t hate it, but it’s confusing lol

2023-02-18 07:48:22 +0000 UTCthis!! i love P&P though i do prefer other versions than this film, but i think how to lose a guy would be the funner movie to watch a reaction to, if that makes sense. it took me so long to get into the language of it and this is coming from someone who specifically studied literature in college. it definitely takes some getting used to lol

2023-02-18 07:05:56 +0000 UTCThe Fault In Our Stars or Pride & Prejudice

2023-02-18 07:03:43 +0000 UTCsame!! those are by far my favorite version!

2023-02-18 07:00:28 +0000 UTCP&P is my fav romance movie but I truly would NOT recommend it as a watch if you have no experience in reading or comprehending old English dialogue. Not to assume but my sis and I live for romance films but she has never been able to sit for this film.

2023-02-18 06:44:45 +0000 UTCCrossing my fingers for "How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days"! So funny!! P&P is also great, but i personally prefer the book or the 1995 version. <3
