Ok I'm here, like over a month late hehe.
I wanted to do something with Hatsune Miku just to see how it compared to using Moonbase, and I gotta say it's in a weird limbo. It's so much easier to use, but that puts it in a mental bracket that makes any slight inconvenience that much more bothersome. There's a good two-second delay whenever you want to play the track, and inputting the phonemes manually seems almost unintended with how unintuitive it is.
I had the idea for the video itself for a while but never gave it much thought. What I didn't realize back then was that there was a free trial for vocaloid!
I'm sorry to say, but hearing so much of the text-to-speech voice desensitized me to the inherent humour to how they talk, so there were many times where I second-guess myself, asking "is this even funny?" I did chuckle a little when I watched the original video for the first time in a while, but then it went back to cold analysis of every line :< Ah well.
