Jeremy was a CHILD and she knows how much Elena has suffered (some of her doing) but she doesn't care. Katherine is an AMAZING villain and she's so entertaining but she literally sexually abused Stefan and compelled him the entire time, including when she fed him her blood. She loves to toy with Damon's feelings and she doesn't seem to care when innocent people get hurt.

He just wants Elena to get the cure even if he doesn’t want her to be human. He loves her so much, even if there is a slight possibility that she will leave him.
