Hi everyone!
First of all, let me thank you for another month of support! It is also so kind of you that you just made this transition to the one tier with me. Really makes me be thankful of the kind of art that I do, because this kind of art attracts almost only the most kind people to it.
Today I'm coming forth with the lineart for this. I realized way too late (only when flipping the canvas) that my tower wasn't straight :D
As you can see by the sketch I posted last week, I added some mountains in the background to break the composition weight a bit, since it felt really heavy on the right side of the drawing. This should usually only be done when that weight to one side has a semantic goal to it (for example for storytelling), but with this one, it doesn't.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy! I plan on making a "Draw this in your style" for my instagram, since not a lot of these challenges deal with environments. Almost none actually.
Take care
Simon
p.s.: I fear drawing the sky already - seems like drawing skies and clouds are my next dragon to slay.
