New Artwork "Travelling with the Silverwing Guild"
Added 2024-06-04 19:28:58 +0000 UTCHi everyone! The piece is finally finished, and I must say I am very please with the colors. I know it could look almost too sugary, but to me it feels just vibrant and full of life. The view is also something that I particularly like, or rather the perspective. I fear the piece might be a bit of an overburden to a viewer, as it has lots of little clusters everywhere. At the same time, this was what was so fun to draw, creating all those little towns, imagining life on the various islands.
Our little wizard is travelling together with the Silverwing Guild, to which he has a great connection to since he once safed one of their oldest members when both of them were younger. The Silverwing Guild specializes in travels of all kinds, usually when a ship is way too slow. This can be a huge advantage for the emissaries of all different kinds of islands when they need to be somewhere fast, or sometimes even some nobles. Travelling by means of the Silverwing Guild also has its price, but is widely known as being absolutely dependable and the fastest way to travel by far. Few ever experience it, but those who have, will never forget in within their lifetime.
Anyways, I have taken on another commission which will be rather cool, so the next piece might take some time. I'd like to draw something on the ground again, there are a few ideas already, but nothing concrete yet.
