So today I'm coming to you with a completely unbalanced composition, I think it has actually never been that strong on one side before. I've been playing a game called "Tiny Glade", which gave me the idea for the house, and the tower should be fun to draw as well, as you know that I just love towers somehow 😂
I keep telling myself to keep it simple, not getting lost in details and making lineart that is too fine, but it happens over and over again 🧐
Especially since I realize that the complex pieces usually flop on social media, while the crops that are more easily readable, less complex and have thicker lineart tend to do better. I know that I shouldn't create with social media in mind, but if I plan to some day actually live off my art, I can't ignore what works and what doesn't. But yeah, we all know I'm going to draw it rather complex again^^
To bring some positivity back into all of this again - I love the feeling of seeing such a vast open space next to that imposing, heavy wall. since we're not trapped as a viewer, it feels like a protection though instead of a threat. Just imagine how this could protect from weather or wind!
In red you see our wizard again, and I drew blue shapes for another tower and house in the distance so I don't forget them.
