New Sketch "Summer Evenings" (title not clear yet)
Added 2024-06-27 16:06:55 +0000 UTCHi everyone! This is something that I have not done in a long time - it will be a rework of an older piece of mine. The background will be different, and I want to really see how much I've grown in the last 3 or so years. Maybe even 4 years, I can't really remember when the original piece was done. In any case, I've already started on the lineart, I'm using a slightly different brush that has more of a pencil feel to it compared to the inking feel that my usual brush has. Can't wait to show the finished piece to you once it's done, I feel really good about it so far.
This piece will be lit in golden light as if on a Summer Evening, I'll see how much of the scene will be lit, but the background will certainly be in shadow to create a nice contrast to the cat.
