Sneak Peek - Episode 188

This is the first Hamtaro episode I'll be working on 2019. And I have to say, it is one I've been looking forward to for a very long time. I'm quite surprised I haven't worked on it before.

Pashmina does not have many episodes, and I have subbed pretty much any other Sparkle episode (I believe there might be another one I am missing); so it is rather rare that this one was unsubbed after all this time.

I should have work on this something like half a year ago, but I met Whippu and he wanted to give it a try as his first attempt of subbing. Well, just like the Robo-Joe episode before this, he actually did a very good job. 

His timing is going to save a lot of time and he translated quite a bunch of sentences, so that also helps! For instance, I am reaching 1/3 of the episode right now and I just barely worked on it for some 40 minutes. This may look like a lot given the episode itself is 24 minutes and I have a lot of work already done, but I am a perfectionist so I am fixing really small mistakes on the timing and re-watching parts over an over to make sure the result is accurate. Plus goofing around haha

Anyways... This episode so far is easy, a perfect choice for someone aiming to give a try to this subtitling hobby. There is a huge cluster of human talk that was slightly hard to pull out, but other than that the usual Ham-Hams speech is easy to work with.

The video and audio qualities are not the best sadly, so that may slow the process a little since I have to relisten to some lines a few times to make the most of it.

I expect this episode to be done any time this week, and since it is already timed, I will be releasing it without bothering Kristopher, so it will be quicker.

This is the last episode that Whippu has worked on, so I won't be as lucky to be able to laze around and get half my work done next time haha
