Explanations and excuses
Added 2019-04-26 15:50:41 +0000 UTCI know I'm very very behind at this point, and I'm doing my best to fix it and make it right. I just sort of want to explain that I'm not just blowing everybody off and spending all my time playing video games or something.
This month I have:
Had several days taken from me to watch a family member's kid, without them asking, and without 'no' being an option.
Had a close family member go into the hospital, and had to spend days there because it was a critical situation. They've stabilized now, thank goodness.
Had to take my elderly dog to the vet, and find out she has only a little time to live. Heart problems. It's just a matter of age.
Had to have people over to look at the house I'm renting, to see if they'd like to buy it, and thus, had to clean it spotless each time.
And finally, now that everything has calmed down, I've apparently caught something pretty bad from being at the hospital. 102-103 degree fever, everything aches, I'm having a hard time catching my breath, and just feel completely drained and even have a hard time making it up and down my stairs without feeling like I'm going to pass out.
It sounds a bit dramatic, but I'm immuno-compromised, and even small illnesses hit me very, very hard, and last a long time. This one isn't messing around.
Ashley's been a peach, helping me a lot and basically doing everything that I need to do to survive without leaving this room. I'm typing from my phone in bed because I just can't muster the energy to sit up and do it at my desk.
