Don’t get me wrong I would never agrue that Jon isn’t a great leader or wouldn’t be the best choice for a ruler. It’s just he doesn’t want that and neither do I. I watched Dany fight for this for so long, she’s given so much for this cause that it would pain me to see her not sit on that throne after all the sacrifice. She deserves a chance to grow and make change on that Throne and one day even become a better version of herself.

2023-05-07 21:41:03 +0000 UTCI get where you’re coming from when you say that Danaerys should have attacked the Red Keep at the beginning and all of this would have been avoided. But the advice she was given was also true: if she used her dragons to burn down cities so that she could rule, she’s no different from the enemies she wants to destroy. She’s not breaking the wheel. The “right” way is the harder and more painful way, but it’s what separates heroes from villains. That’s why I would argue with you when you say you don’t want Jon on the throne- he’s proven time and time again that he is the best ruler in the show. Not because he wants it, but because he’s shown repeatedly that he puts his desires to the side for the greater good when that has never been Dany’s first instinct. She’s done that when her advisors guided her to, but her first instinct is almost always self-serving.

This one was one of the ones Maester Quburn Used to demonstrate to Cersei how "if they can be injured, they can be killed". The one she pulled the trigger and it went through "Balerion the Dread" skull, under the throne room. Also don't forget Danny watch Rhaygal die, she saw all of the other giant crossbows and while burning some would have worked, the risk of losing Drogon was to great. She was better off waiting for reinforcements. Missandei hid in the ship, remember, that's what Euron does, capture people. Yara, the Sand Snakes. I'm sure there were others there, they were probably killed. I can't wait to see you review the last two episodes 😂

Sansa was a bitch to him growing up but I’m talking about now…The “Last Of The Starks” are close and they all needed to know the truth about Jon. Dany asking him not to say anything was selfish on her part. It was too bad she only had Viscerys growing up or she’d understand.

2023-05-03 18:44:01 +0000 UTCI won't back any of the writing decisions made for season 8, especially for this episode, but for clarity's sake, Greyworm ordered messandei to hide below deck. It ~looks~ like Euron's ship is closer to Dany's fleet than the fleet is to shore, and I'd assume at this point Cersei knows enough about Dany to know Missandei is important to her. It wouldn't surprise me if given all of those factors they searched specifically for her in the hopes of capturing her while everyone else fled and tried to get to shore. Missandei could also have been knocked out when the ship was hit. I guess there's lots of factors. The actual problem is how was Euron that close to Dany or her fleet without anyone noticing. It's honestly laughable writing.

2023-05-03 14:41:01 +0000 UTCDuring the battle meeting at Winterfell, Jon actually attempted to take Rhaegal with him instead, but Grey worm moved Rhaegal's dragon token, back to Danys fleet. That could have saved Rhaegals life, if he left with Jon's army on foot. Could have shown Jon exploring the north to lose time while his men march, bonding with Rhaegal, as Jon seemed to get way more confident riding Rhaegal, once he knew he was a Targaryen. Jon caught on fast. Shame this season was so rushed.

Also remember time moves quickly and it takes weeks to travel so Jamie probably spent at least a couple weeks with Brienne, not that it helps. I actually was mad at Sansa for betraying Jon, but i also get, shes playing the game and trying to protect him. Jon is just trying to keep the peace and believes he could have the best of both, but unfortunately Dany is pushed too far with Jons rejection, Rhaegal & Missandei's death. I completely understand Varys though, he's been around awhile and saw the signs of bad rulers & or Tyrants. If Danys willing to do whatever it costs, then she herself is a tyrant.

They don't trust Danny because of their history. Also the North wants to be a free Kingdom, independent from the rest of the relm. As they said they'd never bend the knee to a southern ruler again. We've watch Danny grow from season 1, Sansa and Arya have only known her a short while. Trust takes time to build. Great reaction as always. I knew you'd flip out when Rhaegal was killed. I watched it at 2am (because of the five hour time change between The states and England) each week as it was released. I didn't see that coming either. Fucking Cersei 😡 It's a good job your puppy wasn't with you this episode. I honestly am dying to watch your reaction to the last two. Would it be possible to do a live after the season ends so we can all talk about what we think of the show and its ending? (no spoilers there)

It wasn’t a retaliation. And I love Dany too but I thought it was a bit selfish of her to tell Jon to stay quiet about who he really is to his sisters. The Stark’s are tight and I guess She just doesn’t understand cuz she didn’t come from that type of family unit. And lastly, Dany does not have to kill innocent people to get to that bitch Cersei. She’s gonna need people to rule over and those citizens of Kings Landing can’t stand The Lannisters. They’ll love Dany. All she gotta do is head straight for that big ass window that Cersei likes to stand in front of, thumbing her nose at everyone, and have Drogon dracarys her ass. Dany needs to make sure Cersei dies screaming.
