Here's where things stand right now (expect it to change soon). They opened the rest of the 200 level sections 20 minutes into the sale. They just added the upper decks back into the map. I wanted to capture this data at this moment because this now gives us a good estimate. More later..

This is a solid result in AEW’s historically strongest market, which will also feature the return of CM Punk in his historically strongest market; after a highly publicized 10-month absence. This will end up being a good result, but not the home run many were prematurely trying to proclaim since speculation began of Punk’s return. Ultimately, Chicago wasn’t to be worried about. These good, yet far from great/home run results don’t bolster my confidence for future Collision dates, though.

2023-05-26 17:16:28 +0000 UTCI think one reason is because some fans have turned on him because of what happened at All Out, last time they were in Chicago a lot of the crowd was chanting “fuck CM Punk” during the Elite’s match, and the main reason they sold it out the first time was because he was coming back after being gone for so long.
